ESCHA TSL has successfully completed certification
As of now, certified according to IRIS, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
Halver, 30.09.2009 - ESCHA TSL, the specialist in push-buttons, switches, and lamps for the rail industry, successfully completed several certifications in August. As one of the first mid-sized companies and aside from big train manufacturers, it has received the much desired IRIS certificate as well as ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004.
"Through the successful certification, we are again emphasizing our demand for high product standards", said Lutz Höfer of the ESCHA TSL management. "the fact that we, as a manufacturer in our product field, have received the IRIS certificate without any diversions, makes us particularly proud", continued Höfer.
The Internation Railway Industry Standard (IRIS) is a new international and rail-specific certification standard which has been mainly developed by Alstom, Bombardier, Siemens, and Knorr Bremse. In the course of globalisation and increasing quality requirements, the IRIS guarantees a worldwide evaluation system.
The ESCHA TSL quality- and the environmental management systems have been successfully certified as well. Both sytems meet the internationally recognised ISO 9001:2008 and the ISO 14001:2004 standards. |
